  • Act as strategic finance partner and trusted advisor to the Managing Director, bringing insight, challenge and recommendations to key business decisions.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting and long-term planning across the Baltics.
  • Develop planning, budgeting and forecasting frameworks and ensure the timely submission of high-quality financial information.
  • Consolidate financial, operational and commercial data into clear management reporting and actionable performance insights.
  • Analyse business performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective or value-creating actions.
  • Prepare and present financial results, forecasts and performance reviews to local, regional and corporate leadership teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance variances, driving accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with Controllership teams and ensure appropriate oversight of month-end close, statutory reporting, tax, audit, internal controls and compliance matters.
  • Provide country-level review and sign-off for statutory reporting and key finance deliverables, in line with applicable governance and delegated authority.

  • Improve reporting processes, data quality, financial visibility and finance ways of working.
  • Lead or support strategic projects, finance transformation and business improvement initiatives as required.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Represent Finance at country leadership level and promote a culture of accountability, transparency and sound financial decision-making.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear, concise and commercially relevant financial advice.
  • Coordinate effectively across local, regional and corporate finance teams, despite the absence of direct reporting lines.
  • Act as the escalation point for material financial risks, accounting matters and governance issues within the country.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role such as Finance Manager, Country Controller or a comparable position.
  • Strong experience across business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis.

  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to a Managing Director or senior leadership team.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, regional or international environment.
  • Ability to oversee and influence finance activities delivered through teams outside the direct reporting line.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex information and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
  • Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; Power BI or similar business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Independent, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced and credible finance leader who combines strong technical finance judgement with commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style. The successful candidate will be comfortable acting as the Managing Director’s key financial partner while maintaining effective oversight of accounting and statutory matters delivered through the wider Controllership organisation.
