Join our team as a Press Brake Operator, where your skills, precision, and attention to detail will play a key role in producing high-quality fabricated parts for our customers. In this role, you will set up and operate press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. You will work with advanced manufacturing equipment to ensure parts are produced accurately, safely, and within required tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, values safe work practices, and is committed to contributing to overall production success and customer satisfaction.

  • Incorporates experience and knowledge to perform tasks and ensure assembly / fabrication specifications are met.
  • Set up and operate manual and/or CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and job specifications.
  • Select, install, and adjust proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
  • Measure and inspect parts using calipers, tape measures, protractors, angle gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Monitor machine operation and production output to ensure parts are accurate, consistent, and free of defects.
  • Handle sheet metal materials safely and efficiently, including loading, positioning, and removing parts from equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production records, job travelers, inspection documentation, and material usage information.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, basic maintenance, and report equipment issues to supervision or maintenance personnel.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Work with supervisors, programmers, quality personnel, and other team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
  • Proficient in all areas of the build and production processes.
  • Participates in process improvement activities or projects.
  • Develops solid knowledge of wider production assemblies and machinery as experience grows.
  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Assembly and Fabricator.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work 3rd shift (10:30 pm to 7 AM) after the initial training period on day shift.
