Deputy Manager-Supply Chain Job Description
Function- SCM
- Experience – 8-12 years
- Industry Preference: chemical / Speciality Chemicals or other manufacturing sectors.
- Education- B.Com/BSC/M. Com/ BE (Mech./Electrical/Civil)/ Diploma in Material Management
- Procurement of quality Raw material in order to meet continuous plant production Schedule with Q/A Compliance.
- Develop local and overseas vendors for cost effective RM procurement.
- Issue and Maintain Mechanical, Electrical & instrument ARC in order to avoid plant Downtime.
- To control OPEX/REVEX by sourcing cost effective material and services.
- Define roles & responsibility matrix in order to export of the finish goods to the Customer.
- Identify Fast moving items and establish concept of Vendor Managed inventory to ensure zero material crisis.
- Responsible for commercial contract, service agreements, renewals as per policy guidelines.
- Assign tasks within the team with proper prior planning and ensure that the deliverables are as per the set expectations, and within the timelines provided.
- Promote staff moral, assign task, adjust task to meet staff, capability and take corrective action as and when required.
- Day-to-day activities of Eng-Stores and Logistics along with Inventory Management activities.
- Overall responsibility of local as well as Imported Eng. material and Packing Material Receipt, Unloading, Accounting, Inspection, Tagging/Storing and Issue to plant and Dispensing of Eng- Material & Material Handling.
- Maintain Min-Max level of Spares and Consumables and responsible for its purchase.
- Responsible for development of Infrastructure, Space management and Systems for Stores.
- Responsible for perpetual inventory verification with books.
- Responsible to provide monthly MIS & yearly Budget.
Responsible for all project work related to stores what so ever launched by the management.
