BASIC PURPOSE: Set-up and clearing of china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions as well as attend to guest needs and requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order. (40%)
Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition. (15%)
Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans. (15%)
Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely. (10%)
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Serve food to guests.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Education: High school education equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum one year food service or related work
Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding room set-up.

Travel required: None
Hours required: Forty hours over a five-day period; scheduled days and times may vary based on need
