What will the role be about?

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and customer-focused Fleet Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily fleet operations, coordinating vehicle maintenance, supporting clients, attending breakdown calls, and ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the daily operations of the company fleet.
  • Attend and respond to client calls, inquiries, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate and follow up on vehicle breakdowns and provide immediate support to clients.
  • Plan and manage vehicle movements for RTA passing, inspections, registrations, permits, and other administrative requirements .
  • Drive and move company fleet vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles, whenever required for operational purposes.
  • Prepare accurate vehicle departure, return, handover, and condition reports .
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all vehicles, maintenance, repairs, inspections, and operational activities.
  • Plan and schedule periodic and preventive maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Coordinate with the workshop and maintenance team regarding repairs, servicing, and vehicle availability.
  • Monitor vehicle status and ensure timely follow-up on pending repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure all fleet documents, registrations, insurance, permits, and related records are properly maintained and monitored.
  • Coordinate with clients, drivers, workshop staff, suppliers, and internal departments .
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet reports when required.
  • Identify operational issues and provide practical solutions to improve fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in good operating condition and meet company safety standards.
  • Conduct regular fleet inspections and report any vehicle damage, defects, or maintenance requirements.
  • Follow up on accident repairs, vehicle recovery, replacement vehicles, and insurance-related requirements when necessary.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates to clients regarding vehicle availability, repairs, and breakdown status.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in fleet operations, fleet management, transportation, vehicle rental, or automotive operations is preferred.
  • Good understanding of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance planning .
  • Strong English communication skills – speaking and writing are mandatory .
  • Ability to speak Hindi as well.
  • Excellent customer service and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to handle emergency breakdown situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting .
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare professional reports.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in dealing with drivers, workshops, garages, and suppliers is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of UAE traffic regulations, vehicle registration, RTA processes, and fleet documentation will be an added advantage.
  • Valid UAE Manual Driving License – Mandatory.
  • Candidates must be confident and experienced in driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Good knowledge of Dubai roads and locations is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent operational and client requirements.
