About Odin

ODIN is the global leader in Australian mortgage broking and tax services for Australian expats and overseas investors. We operate an ACL-regulated, TPB-registered multi-practice model spanning mortgages, tax, and conveyancing, with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Nepal, and Australia. Our clients are high-income Australian expats making some of the most consequential financial decisions of their lives — we take the trust that implies seriously.

Our Values

  • At Odin, we operate with high ownership, deep accountability, and an obsession with delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • We don’t wait to be told what to do. We act like owners, improve every day, and deliver WOW moments for clients and partners.
  • If this resonates with how you approach your work, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Join Odin

This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to shape the future of expat property finance on a global stage. As our Expat Property Wealth Specialist, you’ll:

  • Unlock Uncapped Earning Potential: Receive a competitive salary with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on your performance.
  • Collaborative Online Global Team: Work with our complete end-to-end backend mortgage, tax and conveyancing support teams using our collaborative tools. We are a highly tech-enabled company.
  • Qualified client opportunities: Speak with Australian expats and overseas investors already exploring property and finance solutions.
  • Advice-led selling: Solve meaningful, complex client problems instead of competing only on rates.
  • Global client exposure: Support senior professionals and investors based across international markets.
  • Grow with Us: Join a dynamic, growth-focused company with opportunities to advance your career.

About The Role

As an Expat Property Wealth Specialist, you will guide Australian expats and overseas investors through consultative property and finance strategy calls. You’ll understand their goals, present integrated mortgage, tax and conveyancing solutions, and convert qualified opportunities into engaged clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run structured, video-based Australian property, mortgage, tax and legal strategy calls with Australian expats and foreign investors globally.
  • Diagnose borrowing capacity, foreign-income nuances, tax exposure, and property timelines in one conversation.
  • Present one integrated plan and recommend our bundled Premium engagement as the default path — versus a client piecing together a broker, accountant, and solicitor separately.
  • Handle objections on fees, rates, and cross-border complexity, and drive to a decision on the call.
  • Hand off clean, complete files to our delivery teams — no loose ends, no re-work.
  • Keep disciplined CRM hygiene — every stage, every note, every next step.

Requirements

Required Experience

  • At least three years of consultative sales experience in Australian mortgage broking, financial advice, wealth management or a comparable regulated B2C professional service in Australia.
  • A documented history of meeting or exceeding sales or revenue targets (can produce real numbers — close rate, deal size, personal revenue).
  • The ability to explain concepts such as LVR, servicing, foreign-income lending nuances, and high-level tax concepts (residency, main residence exemption, FITO) in plain language (English).
  • Runs structured, multi-stage sales conversations (discovery → integrated plan → offer → close), not transactional order-taking.

Favorable Experience

  • Direct experience with Australian expat/non-resident lending or expat tax.
  • Experience selling premium, advice-led engagements rather than commodity/rate-shopped products.
  • HubSpot or comparable CRM fluency.
  • Background serving high net worth individuals or senior expatriate professionals.
  • Relevant certifications in finance, mortgage broking, or real estate.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, business, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Already hold or eligible to be accredited under the Australian credit license and tax license criteria
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Clean compliance/reference history — no prior mis-selling or misrepresentation flags.

Key Skills

  • Advice-led sales and customer service experience inc. numerate financial explanation in plain language; compliance/scope awareness; composure with senior professionals and high net worth individuals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Resourceful in addressing client concerns, finding suitable lender solutions, and maintaining strong attention to detail with organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish trust and long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple client cases, and meet deadlines.
  • Openness to feedback, continuous improvement, and professional development.
