Senior Engineer - ELV/ICT

• Information Technology Infrastructure and Building Technologies systems design specifically in the following:
• IT Cabling Infrastructure, Network and IMIT Systems
• ELV-Security Systems, Fire Alarm System, Public address system, Intrusion systems etc.
• Audio Visual Systems
• Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company and client drafting standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers & local Canadian Designers and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate design drawings with other disciplines
• Contribute to maintaining WSP quality assurance approaches and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Smart buildings, IT infrastructure, Security, AV and or other building systems would be considered an asset.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM related software
• Experience with MicroStation is desirable.
• Post-secondary education with drafting and/or construction-related experience with emphasis on electronic or electrical disciplines
• Good writing skills including report writing and specification writing
• Ability to create and interpret technical documents including reports, diagrams, drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• ASIS Credential CPP or PSP is preferred but not required
• BISCI Credential RCDD is preferred but not required
