Technical Project Manager

As our new Technical Pro j e c t Manager, you will play a central part in ensuring that innovative pro ducts reach customers through robust, efficient, and future ‑ ready pro duction setups across our global factory network.

Meet your future team

You will join our Centre of Excellence for Electronics , c onsist ing of 4 project managers and a few specialists based in Skjern . The team is responsible for specifying, developing, and delivering production technologies to our global manufacturing network . C entre o f E xcellence Electronics main responsibility is to mature new technologies and build bridge from Product & Innovation to manufacturing area .

As Technical Pro j e c t Manager, you will work across Danish and international factories, driving development and implementation pro j e c t s that ensure aligned, high ‑ quality, and scalable pro duction setups. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, Engineering, and Pro duction. You will be a central p art in ensuring that our factories are ready to accommodate new pro duct launches, pro duct modifications, and continuous pro cess im pro vements.

Together with your colleagues, you will help secure manufacturing excellence across sites, contributing to the consistency, stability, and future readiness of the VELUX supply chain.

What we offer

In this role, you will manage a wide range of technical pro j e c t s across Electronics . You will transform new pro duct concepts into mature pro duction setups, implement technological upgrades, and help transfer and scale solutions across factories. You will act as the connector between pro duct development, technology, and pro duction, ensuring that new technologies and pro ducts are introduced efficiently and with high pro duction robustness.

More specifically, your tasks will be to

• Plan, facilitate , and coordinate pro j e c t activities across Engineering, Pro duction, Quality, Purchasing , and Logistics
• Drive development and implementation pro j e c t s across both Danish and international factories
• Guide and motivate pro j e c t teams, ensuring alignment, pro gress, and timely delivery
• Conduct risk assessments, mitigation planning, and thorough follow-up on project activities
• Build commitment across the organisation through clear communication, involvement, and constructive feedback
• Prepare budgets, resource requirements, investment analyses, business cases, and pro cess setups
• Collaborate with pro duct development to secure strong Design for Manufacturing principles.
• Support ramp up , maturation, and transfer of manufacturing setups to other production sites.

International travel of ap pro ximately 10 – 20 days per year, primarily within Europe, should be expected.

Moreover, we expect that you

• Hold a technical degree
• Bring several years of practical pro j e c t management experience in a technical environment with multiple workstreams
• Have strong planning and coordination skills and are comfortable delegating and following up
• Possess solid technical insight and an understanding of pro duction pro cesses; experience in electronic manufacturing is an advantage
• Communicate effortlessly in English, verbally and in writing. Danish is an advantage but not required
