Digital Marketing Specialist, House of Control, Oslo
House of Control · Oslo, Norway
About The Role
If you like making content that actually gets people's attention, get a kick out of testing new ideas, and are just as comfortable in front of the camera as behind it, this could be a good match.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team at Skøyen, someone who will play a central part in building House of Controls presence across digital channels.
For twenty years, House of Control has helped businesses get control of their contracts, and now we are taking the next step with James. Regulations like NIS-2 and DORA keep setting new and stricter requirements for how businesses handle suppliers, risk and documentation, and for many it is both complex and time-consuming to stay on top of it all and ensure compliance. James is the AI agent in our new AI-native solution, helping our customers find, understand, monitor and act on information related to contracts, compliance and supplier risk. James catches changes, risks and obligations and surfaces what needs attention, so our customers are always one step ahead.
That is where you come in. Your job is to make a complex field clear and genuinely interesting for the professionals who rely on it, through video and content built for digital channels.
About the role
Video and social media are the heart of this role. You plan, film and edit content for social media, campaigns and web, and you are comfortable being in front of the camera yourself. You take ownership of our presence in our own channels, keep an eye on what is resonating, and try out new ideas and formats whenever you think we can do something better. This is a hands-on, visual role, more camera and editing than long-form writing.
You also plan and run webinars and events, on everything from onboarding and product updates to compliance and market trends. Sometimes you are behind the camera, other times you are the one hosting the session or on stage.
Over time, your content will also reach further into the business. You will make short how-to films for James, our next-generation platform, and product videos that help Sales in a customer conversation and Customer Success in onboarding. As you grow into the role, you will build up a library of content that works across the whole customer journey. You are part of a marketing team, and you will have support as you take on the broader parts of the role.
What we are looking for
This is a new role, so you will have plenty of room to test, learn and shape how we work with digital visibility going forward. You do not need years behind you. If you have the instinct for content and the drive to own it, we will back you.
- experience with video and digital content production, through work, studies, freelance or your own projects
- you can film and edit yourself, and have an eye for what makes content both look good and work in the channel it is made for
- you are comfortable in front of the camera and want to host webinars, live sessions and events
- you have worked with social media for a brand, or built a presence of your own you can point to
- you care whether the content actually lands, not just whether it gets made, and you follow what is working and do more of it
- you use AI tools as a natural part of how you work, and you are curious about how new tools can make production both better and faster
- you can get your head around complex topics and explain them in a way that makes people understand and care
- you write and speak Norwegian and English well
What we offer
You come in at a point where a lot is still taking shape, with a short path from idea to execution and a real chance to influence how we take James to market. House of Control is around 80 people, and in marketing you work closely with sales, Customer Success and product, so the distance is short between what customers care about, what we are building and the content we make.
House of Control moves fast and has big ambitions, but it is also a place where people genuinely enjoy working together. We spar across teams, we help each other out, and we are happy to question how things have been done before. We also think different backgrounds and perspectives make us better.
At the same time we are part of Visma, so you get access to professional networks, courses and colleagues across the Visma companies, with good opportunities for professional development and career growth. This is a permanent position. We offer a flexible, hybrid way of working, new offices at Skøyen, and solid pension and insurance schemes.
Application
We review applications on a rolling basis and would like someone to start as soon as possible, but we are happy to wait for the right person. If you have made something you are proud of, feel free to include a reel, a profile or a couple of examples. If you have questions about the role, reach out to Susann Ribe, Commercial Director - [email hidden]
