Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Senior Benefit Analyst, Financial Wellbeing, Income Protection & Leaves (North America) to join our Human Resources team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the employee experience by ensuring our health, leave, and financial wellbeing programs run smoothly and compassionately. As our process owner for North American leave programs, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to streamline administration and support our people through key life moments. Here, your expertise will foster trust and provide essential peace of mind to thousands of colleagues across the U.S. and Canada.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will
- Oversee the daily administration of North American retirement, financial wellbeing, and income protection plans to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary process owner for U.S. and Canadian Leave of Absence (LOA) programs, coordinating FMLA, disability, state/provincial PFML, and ADA accommodations.
- Manage third-party vendor performance, monitoring SLAs and data accuracy to eliminate administrative friction for employees.
- Analyze usage trends and operational metrics using dashboards to identify friction points and elevate program delivery.
- Maintain employee-facing intranet communications and deliver practical guidance to managers on leave policies and return-to-work procedures.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, compliance, and LOA program management across North American markets.
- Strong knowledge of benefit operations, including payroll integrations, arrears processing, and audit workflows within platforms like Workday and ServiceNow.
- Proven expertise in handling complex leave requirements, state/provincial compliance, and return-to-work accommodation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and collaborate effectively across matrixed HR environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of translating complex compliance requirements into clear, actionable employee resources.
