The Product Manager – PSAO Audit and Compliance Solutions is responsible for end-to-end ownership of audit and compliance capabilities that support the PSAO solutions portfolio. Reporting to the Group Product Owner – PSAO Solutions, this role evolves traditional quality and compliance activities into a product-led capability with clear accountability for roadmap direction, feature prioritization, process enablement, adoption, and measurable business value. The role owns the Pharmacy Audit Support product and associated compliance workflows while also coordinating and tracking PSAO registration and licensure requirements and ensuring registrations and licensures are filed on time and compliantly. This role serves as a key partner to legal, compliance, operations, contracting, finance, and customer-facing teams to proactively identify and mitigate regulatory, audit, and payment-integrity risk while improving support for participating pharmacies and strengthening the broader PSAO offering.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and maintain the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for PSAO Audit and Compliance Solutions, including Pharmacy Audit Support, compliance workflows, registration and licensure tracking, policy enablement, and risk mitigation capabilities.
  • Translate the priorities of the Group Product Owner – PSAO Solutions into an outcome-focused roadmap that balances regulatory compliance, pharmacy support, operational efficiency, and business value.
  • Use customer insight, audit trends, regulatory change, operational feedback, and internal stakeholder input to identify unmet needs and prioritize product improvements and new capabilities.

Pharmacy Audit Support Product Ownership

  • Own the Pharmacy Audit Support product and associated features, processes, and enhancements that help pharmacies respond productively to payer and PBM audits.
  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of audit support workflows, reporting, case management, issue escalation, and related enablement tools.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve audit outcomes, reduce avoidable recoupment exposure, and strengthen the value proposition of PSAO support services.
  • Leverage AI and technology to continually enhance the Pharmacy Audit Support offerings and drive efficiencies .

Compliance, Registration, and Licensure Management

  • Ensure PSAO offerings remain compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and related obligations.
  • Coordinate and track PSAO registration and licensure requirements, maintain compliance calendars and documentation, and ensure registrations and licensures are filed accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory and licensure requirements and drive timely updates to processes, product capabilities, controls, and stakeholder communications.
  • Facilitate policy and procedures updates resulting from evolving regulatory and licensure requirements .

Risk Monitoring, Audit Readiness, and Payment Integrity

  • Support the ongoing monitoring of participating pharmacies and providers for suspicious, fraudulent, or otherwise high-risk activity through analysis of internal and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with Central Pay, contracting, finance, and related teams to address holds, recoupments, terminations, change-of-ownership issues, and other payment-integrity or compliance-related risks.
  • Contribute to preventative and corrective action plans, policy improvements, and control enhancements related to compliance and audit findings.

Agile Product Management and Delivery Leadership

  • Own and maintain a robust, prioritized, and appropriately sequenced backlog of product enhancements, compliance capabilities, workflow improvements, and operational support features.
  • Lead product roadmap planning, release coordination, and end-to-end delivery of enhancements in partnership with technology, data, operations, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate early and often with product management leadership and peer teams to ensure audit and compliance changes do not negatively impact other PSAO solution capabilities or teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Alignment

  • Serve as a primary liaison across legal, corporate compliance, operations, contracting, finance, credit and accounts receivable, sales, customer support, and external partners to ensure aligned execution of audit and compliance priorities.
  • Partner with the Group Product Owner – PSAO Solutions and peer leaders to help coordinate cross-product roadmap dependencies and ensure alignment to broader PSAO solution strategy.
  • Engage internal users and external stakeholders early and often to understand requirements, validate workflows, and improve the usability and effectiveness of compliance and audit solutions .

Policies, Training, and Operational Enablement

  • Support development, maintenance, review, and operationalization of policies, procedures, controls, and documentation needed to meet compliance program obligations within the PSAO environment.
  • Help define, coordinate, and improve compliance training, communications, and enablement materials for internal teams and stakeholders involved in audit, compliance, registration, and licensure activities.
  • Drive best practices and standardized operating methods that improve consistency, timeliness, and audit readiness across the PSAO compliance domain.

Performance, Reporting, and Value Realization

  • Define and track key performance indicators for PSAO Audit and Compliance Solutions, including audit support utilization , compliance timeliness, registration and licensure completion, issue resolution, risk indicators, and business impact.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership regarding product performance, operational trends, compliance status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously assess adoption, efficiency, customer value, and cost-benefit outcomes to refine priorities and strengthen solution performance.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required ; advanced degree preferred in business, healthcare, pharmacy, regulatory affairs, compliance, or related fields.
  • Typically requires 7+ years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in compliance, audit support, regulatory operations, pharmacy services, product management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, payer and PBM audit dynamics, regulatory compliance, and registration/licensure requirements in healthcare or pharmacy-related environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product roadmaps, prioritize enhancements, lead cross-functional delivery, and translate stakeholder needs into scalable solutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.

Salary Range*

$141,600 - 283,250

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
