Job Description
Visa is seeking a Director to lead the development and commercialization of Marketing Services offerings for affluent and high-value consumer segments. This role will help advance a key corporate priority by increasing Visa revenue, share of spend, and engagement, with a primary focus on strengthening the Visa Infinite value proposition through differentiated, client-ready marketing solutions.
This role will serve as the Marketing Services expert on the affluent segment, translating consumer insights, client needs, and Affluent Product strategy into scalable offerings, sales plays, and go-to-market plans. The Director will partner across Product, Global Sponsorships and regional teams, to identify growth opportunities and bring relevant solutions to market.
This individual will also define and operationalize the Affluent Marketing Services model end-to-end, including the commercial strategy, offering roadmap, client prioritization, sales enablement, performance tracking, and ways of working across teams.
The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise marketing to premium and affluent audiences, a strong understanding of the needs and behaviors of high-value consumers, and a track record of developing and commercializing client-facing solutions. Experience with sponsorships, partnerships, or experiential marketing is valuable but not required.
About Marketing Services (MS)
Marketing Services is Visa’s global B2B marketing solutions practice, focused on driving incremental client engagement by commercializing Visa’s marketing expertise, developing scalable, client-facing offerings, and activating Visa’s sponsorships to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients.
Essential Functions
Lead Affluent (Visa Infinite) strategy and go-to-market execution
- Apply deep knowledge of affluent and high-value consumer segments to identify client needs, market opportunities, and strategies that drive engagement and share of spending
- Translate Sponsorships & Partnerships, Affluent Product strategy and consumer insights into clear Marketing Services value propositions, offerings, and sales plays
- Develop and maintain actionable go-to-market plans and sales materials, including client segmentation, priority use cases, pitch narratives, case studies, and pricing frameworks
Shape differentiated affluent experiences and solutions
- Partner with Sponsorship, Product and regional teams to develop solutions designed for premium and affluent audiences
- Work with Global Sponsorships to incorporate relevant sports, music, travel, dining, and experiential assets into solutions for clients looking to target affluent segments
Drive commercialization and growth
- Build a pipeline of scalable Affluent Marketing Services offerings based on client demand, market trends, and commercial potential
- Partner with global and regional teams to prioritize target clients, support sell-in, and move opportunities from concept through launch
- Develop business cases and commercialization plans that define the target audience, client value, revenue potential, GTM, and measures of success
Define and operationalize Affluent ways of working
- Establish the operating model for how Affluent Marketing Services integrates across Product, Global Sponsorships, and regional teams
- Define clear roles, decision points, and engagement models to improve alignment and increase speed to market
Track performance and optimize the portfolio
- Define and track key performance indicators for Affluent Marketing Services offerings, including pipeline, revenue, client adoption, and engagement outcomes
- Use market feedback, client insights, and performance data to refine offerings and improve commercial results
- Build case studies and executive-ready updates that demonstrate impact and support broader commercialization
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, commercialization, go-to-market strategy, consulting, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 6+ years of experience
- Proven experience developing strategies, propositions, or marketing solutions for affluent, premium, luxury, wealth, travel, or other high-value consumer segments
- Deep understanding of affluent consumer needs, behaviors, and drivers of engagement, loyalty, and spend
- Proven ability to develop and bring client-facing offerings, products, or go-to-market strategies from concept through launch
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience with client segmentation, value proposition development, business cases, pricing, pipeline development, and sales enablement
- Experience working across global and regional teams in a complex, matrixed organization
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with experience developing clear, executive-level and client-facing materials
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with sponsorships, partnerships, or experiential marketing is a plus, but not required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; highly organized and able to manage multiple complex workstreams independently

Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $178,300.00 to $ 285,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
