Behaviour Therapist – Private Practice | Sydney’s Sutherland Shire

We are currently seeking a passionate Behaviour Therapist to join a well-established and supportive healthcare practice in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Therapist, you will work closely with children and families to develop and implement individualised behaviour support strategies.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Conducting assessments and contributing to individualised behaviour support plans
  • Delivering evidence-based behavioural interventions
  • Working with children and young people with a range of developmental and behavioural needs
  • Supporting families and carers with practical strategies
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports
  • Collaborating with other allied health professionals and support teams
  • Building strong, positive relationships with clients and their families

About You

We are looking for someone who is

  • Experienced in behaviour therapy, early intervention or working with children and young people (desirable)
  • Knowledgeable about evidence-based behavioural intervention approaches
  • Passionate about supporting children and families
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage a caseload effectively
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Committed to professional development and delivering high-quality care

Early career professionals with relevant qualifications and a strong interest in behaviour therapy are encouraged to apply , with training, supervision and mentoring available.
