Job Summary
The Financial Systems Analyst is accountable for analyzing, administering, and enhancing financial systems that support financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations. This role evaluates business requirements, supports system improvements, and ensures financial systems and related processes effectively meet organizational needs.
Essential Functions
- Support the operation and effectiveness of financial systems that enable financial planning, reporting, and accounting activities
- Analyze financial systems data and prepare reports that support business operations and decision-making
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and development teams to identify system requirements and support solution development
- Evaluate financial processes and workflows to identify opportunities for operational and system improvements
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user instructions that support consistent business practices
- Test and validate system releases, enhancements, and new functionality to ensure alignment with business and financial requirements
- Support the planning and implementation of approved system changes and serve as a resource between system users and technical teams
- Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and/or experience
- 2 years Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Preferred Requirements
- Experience supporting the administration, configuration, or enhancement of ERP, accounting, or other financial systems
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and financial reporting principles and their application within financial systems
- Ability to evaluate data, processes, and system functionality to identify issues and recommend practical solutions
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow projects through completion
- Demonstrated attention to detail when validating data, reviewing system outputs, and maintaining documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to gather information and support system-related initiatives
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills when addressing moderately complex system and process challenges
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across functions to support business objectives and system improvements
- Ability to learn and apply new financial systems, technologies, and business processes in support of evolving organizational needs

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.
$77,200.00 - $100,333.33
