We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and highly motivated Assistant Sales Executive to support our Florida Green Grass accounts and Large Specialty Golf business, specifically and primarily, the PGA Tour. The priority focus of this role is to service our PGA Tour account and partners, including writing and entering all pre-book, in-season, in-week, corporate, event and staff orders in conjunction with traveling to and setting up, staffing and managing all Tournaments and Events conducted by the PGA Tour where Peter Millar product is sold onsite.
Additionally, this role will partner closely with Florida-based Sales Executive(s), our VP of Golf Events, and key Green Grass accounts to support in person visits, sell-in, account service, merchandising, inventory management, event execution, order entry and post-event follow-through. The ideal candidate brings strong sales support experience, excellent organization and communication skills, a service-first mindset and a working knowledge of the golf, retail and event environments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support Florida-based Peter Millar Sales Executive(s) on sales initiatives and overall business needs across the territory as required, including but not limited to sell-in, visual merchandising & assortment refresh, event planning and execution, event staffing, event service and support, Count & Fill programs, belt and t-shirt programs, and seasonal account needs
- Serve as a key support resource for Green Grass and Large Specialty golf accounts, including but not limited to PGA Tour-related business, Disney, Ponte Vedra, TPC Sawgrass, Sea Island and other priority doors.
- Set up, staff and support PGA Tour and national marquee events, including but not limited to WM, The Players, Valero, Zurich, Truist, Cadillac, CJ Cup, Charles Schwab, Travelers, John Deere, 3M, Rocket Mortgage, FedEx St. Jude, Tour Championship, President’s Cup and Ryder Cup, as business needs require.
- Use RepSpark, VRLink and related order-entry systems to enter orders, maintain accuracy, resolve exceptions and ensure timely follow up.
- Assist accounts with corporate orders and staff orders, including quotes, logo instructions, discount guidance, order details, approvals, tracking and follow-through.
- Partner with internal teams on purchase orders, logo approvals, order tracking, creative requests, belt and tee mockups, logo colors and other customer-service needs.
- Assist Sales Executive(s) with seasonal line launch support & account presentations, including sample preparation and sales materials.
- Promote the brand through strong daily communication with customers on product presentation, event support, signage and point-of-sale materials.
- Provide proactive green grass event ideas, concepts and strategies that help grow the business and enhance customer experience.
- Set and manage an efficient travel schedule, organize time effectively, monitor expenses and provide timely reports as required.
GREEN GRASS MERCHANDISING AND INVENTORY CONTROL
- Support priority Green Grass accounts including Disney, Ponte Vedra, TPC Sawgrass, Sea Island and other key Florida doors.
- Maintain and replenish belts, T-shirts and other key branded programs at designated accounts.
- Execute Count & Fill essentials in key accounts and communicate replenishment needs clearly and promptly.
- Monitor product presentation throughout events and account visits to ensure displays remain clean, organized, shoppable and aligned with Peter Millar standards.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive travel throughout Florida and nationally during peak golf tournament and event seasons.
- Frequent overnight travel, weekend work, and event-based schedules throughout the year.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout tournament venues and events for extended periods.
- Ability to withstand large crowds and oftentimes loud noise and music within the walls of a temporary retail merchandise buildout.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise and event materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Ability to travel frequently by car and air.
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- College education and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, Retail, Hospitality or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of sales, sales support, retail, merchandising, customer service or event experience.
- Golf industry, Green Grass, country club, specialty retail or PGA Tour event experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting sell-in, order entry, account service, regional markets, special events and post-event follow up preferred.
- Proven ability to manage details, meet deadlines, exceed expectations and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort learning systems such as RepSpark, VRLink and related order-management tools.
- Positive attitude, empathy, professionalism and willingness to travel extensively throughout Florida and to National Events as required.
