Position Summary

You will manage supplier quality activities across our India operations to protect product quality and support reliable supply. You will work closely with suppliers, procurement, site teams and regulatory partners. You will lead investigations, track corrective actions, and drive supplier improvement.   • Maintain and manage the approved supplier database and supplier compliance documentation.
  • Lead supplier investigations, manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and ensure timely closure.
  • Negotiate, create and maintain Quality Agreements and manage supplier change controls.
  • Plan and execute supplier audits and self-inspections, and support regulatory inspection readiness.
  • Monitor supplier performance using key quality indicators and prepare summary reports for governance.
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers and coordinate technical transfers and change implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for supplier quality issues, coordinating internally and with suppliers.
  • Review supplier documentation, certificates of analysis and compliance records to ensure conformity.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions with clear timelines and owners.
  • Track and escalate supplier risks that could affect product quality or supply continuity.
  • Support cross-functional teams during supplier selection, qualification and supplier transitions.
  • Prepare clear, timely updates and reports for stakeholders and governance forums.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or a relevant manufacturing role.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Practical experience with supplier audits, CAPA management and change control processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • This role is on-site at a GSK India location and will require travel to supplier sites as needed.

Preferred Qualification

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Chemistry or a quality-related field.
  • Experience with supplier qualification for APIs, excipients or packaging materials.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and risk management tools.
  • Proven track record of leading supplier improvement projects and audit remediation.
  • Experience with quality or data systems and tools for reporting and tracking.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry with exposure to regulatory inspections.
