The Role

Harris Williams is seeking a Marketing Specialist to create compelling visual content that brings our brand to life across digital and print channels. This role will support firmwide marketing initiatives through a mix of graphic design, web design, digital content creation, video, and other visual formats. Working closely with colleagues across the Marketing team, the specialist will help translate complex ideas into engaging visual experiences that strengthen the firm's brand, culture, and market presence.

This role offers the chance to shape how Harris Williams tells its story visually, from graphic design and web experiences to video and motion content, across the firm's brand. You will work hands-on across the full creative process, from concept to production, while partnering closely with the Marketing team and subject matter experts across the firm to bring ideas to life visually.

Core Responsibilities

Visual Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Design visual content for digital, social media, email, web, and internal communications channels.
  • Create graphics, illustrations, presentations, infographics, and other visual assets that communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Support the development and production of video content, including employee stories, event highlights, recruiting content, and brand storytelling.
  • Assist with video editing, motion graphics, captioning, and optimization for various digital platforms.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to translate thought leadership and business content into engaging visual formats.

Design & Brand Execution

  • Produce branded marketing materials while maintaining consistency with firm brand standards.
  • Create and adapt assets using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other creative tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Contribute creative ideas and recommendations that enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communications.

Website & Digital Experience

  • Help identify opportunities to enhance user engagement through visual storytelling and digital experiences.
  • Partner with the digital team to integrate video and multimedia content across the website and internal platforms.
  • Support content updates by preparing visual assets optimized for digital channels.
  • Build and publish new website pages using the firm's content management system.

Project Management & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with the full Marketing team to ensure the brand is consistently demonstrated across all marketing efforts.
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot issues that may impede project timelines, proactively implementing solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality execution.

Job Specific Competencies, Education and Experience

Required

  • 3–6+ years of experience in content creation, video production, or digital storytelling
  • Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, and pacing
  • Familiarity with social media and digital content best practices, with comfort in light scripting, messaging, and content framing
  • Experience working across multiple digital and marketing channels, with an appetite to learn additional mediums
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, a content management system, and other relevant marketing platforms
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, consultative approach across cross-functional partners (e.g., other internal departments, investment banking teams, external agencies)
  • A creative, curious thinker who is proactive and solutions-oriented, bringing passion to projects of all sizes and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Experience capturing photography in professional or event settings
  • Experience in B2B, agency, or financial services environments
  • Experience filming and editing social media content independently (end-to-end production)

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $63,750.00 – $106,250.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
