As an Engagement Ambassador/Onboarding/Contracting professional at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will play a pivotal role in you will act as:
The primary contact for healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, patients, and stakeholders, both before and after engagements. You will address onboarding challenges, facilitate contract requests, and manage complex inquiries with professionalism and service orientation. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
Managing the onboarding process for healthcare professionals, confirming compliance and accuracy in data management. Within our Risk and Compliance practice, you will focus on confirming adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating risks for clients. You will provide guidance on compliance strategies and help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Managing the creation, processing, and execution of HCP/HCO contracts using standard templates within the system of record. This role confirms that all contractual documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will handle high contract volumes with precision, attention to detail, and strong stakeholder communication. This position requires effective collaboration with business owners, legal teams, and external experts to support contract lifecycle activities through execution and amendment.

Responsibilities
Engagement Ambassador
- Acting as the primary contact for healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organizations (HCOs), patients, and stakeholders throughout the engagement process
- Addressing onboarding challenges and facilitating contract execution between HCPs/HCOs and internal signers
- Reviewing contract redline requests and escalating to Legal for further review when necessary
- Supporting invoice and payment queries, confirming timely communication with business owners and stakeholders
- Facilitating travel requests and coordinating logistics between HCPs and travel agencies for non-cross-border engagements
- Handling complex inquiries from external experts with professionalism and compliance awareness
- Assisting in the transition of engagements to post-engagement team members, addressing questions related to payments and compliance reporting
- Utilizing compliance frameworks and regulatory standards to guide clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes
- Conducting risk analysis and compliance audits to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks effectively
- Implementing compliance programs and training to promote adherence to regulatory requirements and governance standards
Onboarding
- Coordinating administrative tasks for HCP engagements, including data entry and portal onboarding support
- Conducting debarment and exclusion screenings to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Managing HCP tiering and Conflict of Interest documentation to support engagement approval processes
- Collaborating with internal teams to confirm timely and accurate onboarding of HCPs
- Escalating exceptions and anomalies to appropriate client team members for resolution
- Supporting HCPs through portal onboarding, assisting with registration and troubleshooting
- Performing due diligence activities, including Conflict of Interest reviews and stakeholder coordination
- Documenting exceptions and maintaining thorough records for audit readiness and transparency reporting
- Collaborating with business owners, compliance, and legal teams to confirm onboarding consistency
- Conducting Fair Market Value tiering tasks and aligning them with defined parameters
- Informing teams of travel or FMV exception requests to trigger system reviews and document outcomes
- Utilizing compliance frameworks and standards to guide regulatory compliance program maintenance
Contracting
- Managing the lifecycle of HCP/HCO contracts from intake through drafting, redline review, e-signature, and amendments
- Collaborating with business owners, legal teams, and external professionals to support contract lifecycle activities
- Reviewing and proofreading contracts to confirm completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal policies
- Coordinating the e-signature process and tracking contract status to closure
- Organizing and maintaining contract documentation to be audit-ready
- Applying appropriate contracting workflows based on engagement type, whether cross-border or non-cross-border
- Coordinating with reporting teams to submit contracts for transparency reporting in applicable markets
- Supporting follow-up actions for outstanding contracts and items blocking execution
- Reviewing redline requests to confirm alignment with established standards and submitting to legal teams for review
- Facilitating amendment requests and working with legal teams to obtain approved language or change orders
- Utilizing compliance frameworks and standards to manage regulatory risk and compliance activities
- Conducting risk analysis and monitoring to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues
- Implementing compliance programs and training to enhance adherence to regulatory requirements
What You Must Have
Engagement Ambassador
- At least a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in life science meetings & events, pharmaceutical, device or healthcare setting working with HCPs, HCOs or Patients
- At least 3–5 years of experience within healthcare provider engagements
- Required fluency in English and Mandarin/Thai/Vietnamese
- Strong understanding of HCP engagement compliance and regulatory environment both domestically and internationally, preferably experience with obtaining country or institutional authorizations, as applicable, including working knowledge of Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), FCPA, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and EFPIA/PhRMA codes
- Significant customer service experience, with ability act as a liaison across multiple stakeholder groups and to consistently deliver “white glove” service.
Onboarding
- Bachelor's degree relevant experience in life sciences, healthcare operations, compliance, or consulting is preferred
- 1–4 years of experience in HCP engagement operations, compliance, or medical affairs support
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia/Vietnamese/Thai
- Familiarity with fair market value tiering, COI management
- Working knowledge of Reltio, Veeva, Interactions Hub, or similar CRM/ HCP engagement systems
Contracting
- At least a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in life sciences, healthcare, or legal/contracting operations; prior experience working with healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organizations (HCOs), or within pharmaceutical, device, or consulting settings preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or HCP/HCO engagement within healthcare, life sciences, or consulting
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin/Bahasa Indonesia/Thai/Vietnamese
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks related to HCP/HCO contracting (e.g., Sunshine Act, Anti-Kickback Statute)
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems or similar tools (e.g., Icertis, Conga, Veeva, SAP Ariba, Salesforce, DocuSign).
