What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate excavators to support aggregate production, material handling, and site operations.
- Inspect equipment daily and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Load, move, and stockpile materials efficiently while maintaining production goals.
- Follow company safety policies, operational procedures, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support plant, quarry, and site performance objectives.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, in an industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support operational goals.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Successful candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and comply with all company employment requirements.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
- 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions
- Eligible employees can earn up to a $1,250 performance-based retention bonus each quarter, paid quarterly based on achievement of established performance metrics.
