About The Role

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist EMEA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining an accurate and efficient accounts payable administration. You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Procurement and Sales organizations to ensure invoices, expense claims and payments are processed correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming supplier invoices and employee travel & expense claims accurately and timely
  • Execute and support payment runs in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers across the EMEA region
  • Maintain accounts payable records and ensure subledger integrity
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on supplier queries
  • Support internal stakeholders with accounts payable related questions
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency within Accounts Payable

About You

You are an accurate and proactive finance professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You enjoy working in a dynamic international environment and take ownership of your responsibilities.

In addition, you

  • Have a vocational diploma (MBO-4) or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable position, preferably within an international organization
  • Have experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered a strong advantage
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Are well organized, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
  • Are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Are fluent in English and have a good command of Dutch
  • Additional European language skills are considered a plus
