About The Role

The senior growth and business model innovation lead for Avanade Next. Helps clients identify where AI can create new revenue, new services, new products or new market positions, then turns those ideas into funded, tested and scalable ventures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Growth Strategy & Market Creation

Own the Business & Growth Models domain across APAC.
Lead AI-enabled growth strategies, venture concepts and scalable business model options.
Build Avanade Next market credibility on AI-enabled growth and commercial innovation, with Microsoft and the wider ecosystem as well as with clients.

Executive Advisory & Business Growth

Advise Boards and executive teams on growth options, disruption risks and investment choices.
Originate and shape mandates where new revenue, new propositions or business model change are the primary agenda.
Partner with Industry Leads, Account Teams and Microsoft to convert growth opportunities into signed work, using co-sell where new propositions are built on Microsoft platforms.

Commercialisation & Delivery

Take clients from opportunity identification to a costed business model, commercial pathway and working prototype.
Design platform, ecosystem, subscription and agent-enabled models with a credible route to adoption and revenue.
Partner with Value Architects and FDEs to test economics and prove the model before major investment.

Capability & Practice Development

Build domain capability across the consulting bench and shared pool through hiring, mentoring and leadership.
Contribute growth plays, financial models and venture patterns to the APAC library.
Help the wider Avanade Next team recognise when growth, rather than efficiency, is the real client agenda.

KEY MEASURES

Domain method active across APAC within the first two quarters.
3 to 5 active mandates with a growth or business model workstream.
New business model opportunities progressing to pilot, launch or funded scale-up.
Direct contribution to qualified pipeline and signed transformation revenue.
Reusable growth patterns and commercial models added to the APAC library.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, venture building, product leadership or commercial innovation.
Track record taking a new business, product or service model from concept to revenue.
Strong commercial and financial modelling capability under uncertainty.
Practical understanding of what agentic AI makes newly possible and what it does not.
Comfortable working with engineers to prototype rather than only describe an idea.

WAYS OF WORKING

Based in SEA with APAC-wide deployment and regular regional travel.
Commercially disciplined: every idea needs a customer, economic case and path to scale.
Prototypes early because an untested business model is still a hypothesis.
Works in small senior teams supported by agents and specialists.
Balances ambition with adoption and execution reality.
