Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Senior Depositary Team Manager for Assistant Vice President (AVP) role to join our Depositary team, reporting directly to a VP.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership position within a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment. The successful candidate will provide oversight across Depositary activities, support the delivery of high-quality client service, drive process improvements, and contribute to the strategic development of the function.
The role requires strong technical knowledge of Depositary obligations, proven people management capabilities, and the ability to build effective relationships with clients, regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders
The Depositary function plays a critical role in safeguarding investor interests and ensuring funds operate in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
As Senior Depositary Team Manager, you will contribute to the effective oversight of fund structures, service providers and operational processes while helping to shape the future direction of the Depositary business. You will be expected to lead teams, manage risk, support regulatory initiatives and ensure the delivery of a consistently high-quality service to clients.

What you will be responsible for
As a Senior Depositary Team Manager, you will
- Provide oversight and leadership across Depositary operations and regulatory activities.
- Manage and develop team members, providing coaching, support and performance management.
- Ensure client, regulatory and internal deadlines are met to a high standard.
- Act as a key escalation point for complex operational, risk and regulatory matters.
- Review and challenge fund structures, onboarding assessments and service provider arrangements.
- Oversee the management and resolution of breaches, incidents and operational issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fund management companies and service providers.
- Attend and contribute to board meetings, client meetings and due diligence reviews.
- Support audits, regulatory inspections and client due diligence exercises.
- Review and approve Depositary policies, procedures and governance documentation.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies and control enhancements.
- Produce and present management information, risk reporting and business updates to senior management.
- Support resource planning, capacity management and departmental objectives.
- Contribute to strategic projects and regulatory change initiatives impacting the Depositary function.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree qualified
- Significant experience within the investment funds industry.
- Strong understanding of UCITS, AIFMD and Depositary regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing teams and developing talent.
