Benefits included in the total value of remuneration package (Pension; 13 th Cheque; Medical Aid; Housing Subsidy;) are payable in accordance with the rules/ requirements of the respective benefit schemes and any revisions that may occur from time to time which may alter the total value of remuneration package. A car Allowance maybe payable and a non-pensionable Market Allowance may be payable in terms of the Scarce Skills Policy.

• Participates in the selection, development and accountability for systems within the Revenue Management system and exercises involvement in strategic issues i.e. monitoring and reviewing procedures and recommending changes to Council's Credit Control Policy.
• Manages the Clearance Certificate Control Branch.
• Manages and controls Branch staff.
• Performs financial procedures and authorises monetary adjustments.
• Controls Branch budgets.
• Represents the Department.
• Attends workshops, seminars and presentations to keep abreast of new developments.

• Essential Requirements:
• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Accounting or Financial Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Must be in possession of National Treasury MFMA minimum competency qualification (NQF 6)

OR

• Must obtain a National Treasury MFMA minimum competency qualification (NQF 6) within 18 months of date appointment.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 4 years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at a supervisory level.

Preferred Requirements

• 5 years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level.
