Job Overview
Join us as a Senior Microsoft Azure Engineer, where you'll be integral to designing, implementing, and maintaining our Windows Server infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in ensuring maximum system availability, performance, and security, aligning with our organization's mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Active Directory infrastructure to maintain an efficient and secure user environment.
- Monitor server performance and conduct system health checks to proactively identify and resolve issues, optimizing performance for financial applications.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and implement server infrastructure upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related incidents and problems, minimizing impact on financial business processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure accurate system recovery processes.
- Drive architecture designs with an 'automation first' approach, focusing on Infrastructure as Code.
- Identify risks in the environment that threaten stability, resiliency, performance, and security.
- Responsible for operating system templates and deployment automation.
- Evaluate tools/products to resolve technology gaps and participate in application roadmap planning.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, recommending enhancements to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements
- Azure Services and Architecture: 7+ years of Azure services across compute, storage, networking, and databases, along with understanding Azure architecture principles for designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.
- Azure Security and Identity Management: 5+ years Azure security features such as role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Security Center, and Azure Key Vault, coupled with expertise in Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management.
- Azure Monitoring and Management: 5+ years monitoring and managing Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Management Groups, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
- Azure DevOps and Governance: 5+ years of Azure DevOps services for CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC), along with knowledge of Azure governance concepts using Azure Policy, Azure Blueprint, and Azure Cost Management for compliance and cost control.
- Azure Hybrid Solutions and Data Services: 5+ years of hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure using Azure Arc, as well as familiarity with Azure data services for data integration, analytics, and big data processing.
Core Competencies
- Proficiency in Windows Server OS, Domain Controller management, Active Directory, Azure management, DNS, ACL, Windows Server CIS hardening controls, Audit Compliance, and Microsoft PowerShell.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and configuration management.
- Familiarity with server monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferences
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Atlassian, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible), Manage Engine, Infoblox, Service Now, and JIRA.
- Overall, a Microsoft Azure engineer is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of Azure services, architecture, security, networking, monitoring, and management to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions effectively.

Pay Range
$112,476.00 - $187,460.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
