WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Representative III, Promotion/Advertising is a Project Manager overseeing the development of Marketing materials for external and internal audiences. The Project Manager will work closely and collaboratively with client teams to identify strategy, audience, goals, and content to drive outcomes, and work with designers to develop inspiring and impactful creative that is consistent with the brand. Project manager supporting external facing Humanitarian Services teams, such as Volunteer Services, as well as internal facing teams, such as Human Resources.

The successful candidate will balance project management expertise with marketing strategy, partnering with stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective campaigns and marketing assets. This position requires strong client relationship and organizational skills, along with the ability to lead projects through the creative process while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage projects from initial kickoff to final delivery by partnering with clients, designers, vendors and leadership.
  • Provide strategic guidance and creative insight throughout the process for marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives that support our organizational priorities and business objectives.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients while effectively managing expectations and project priorities.
  • Become an expert in the American Red Cross brand standards and provide guidance.
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors on print production projects.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Reports to Director, Brand Marketing.

This role will be considered fully remote. Candidates can live anywhere in the United States. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

SALARY

The salary range for this position is: $83,000 - $106,000 annually. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine actual salary include skills, experience, and internal equity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Public Relations, Business, Communications, or a related field required.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing multiple marketing or advertising projects simultaneously.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing, communications, advertising, or promotional campaigns.
  • Experience partnering with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop effective marketing solutions.
  • Experience evaluating campaign effectiveness and utilizing metrics to inform decision-making.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy, advertising, branding, and campaign development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority

Travel: May travel and participate in meetings throughout the Red Cross system.

  • Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to the description's minimum education and general experience years combined (management experience cannot be substituted).

Physical requirements are those present in a normal office environment. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time.
