About The Role

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Quality Assurance Lead to lead quality assurance across product development, product implementation, and AI-driven product capabilities. The role will define lifecycle-based process assurance for product development and product implementation, establish AI governance and control frameworks, and manage manual and automated testing to drive measurable improvements in product quality, release confidence, and implementation readiness.

Key Responsibilities

QA Strategy & Delivery

Define and drive the overall QA strategy, testing approach, and quality roadmap .
Own end-to-end QA delivery across projects/programs, ensuring quality, timelines, and release readiness.
Establish testing standards, quality KPIs, metrics, and governance processes.
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of quality engineering practices.

Automation & Testing

Provide leadership oversight across functional, integration, regression, UAT, API, and end-to-end testing .
Drive automation strategy using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright , or similar frameworks.
Ensure effective automation coverage and integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines .
Provide technical direction on API testing, SQL/database validation, and test frameworks.

Process Assurance for Product Development

Embed QA activities across requirements analysis, design reviews, development, test execution, release validation, and post-release improvement.
Define product development quality gates, entry/exit criteria, traceability standards, and release readiness checkpoints.
Partner with engineering teams to shift quality left through requirement validation, peer reviews, static analysis, unit test alignment, and early defect prevention.
Drive risk-based testing, test coverage analysis, defect trend reviews, and continuous quality reporting across Agile and CI/CD delivery models.

Pro cess Assurance for Product Implementation

Own QA planning and validation for product configuration, environment readiness, data migration, integrations, deployment, and implementation cutover activities.
Establish implementation quality gates including configuration sign-off, UAT readiness, operational acceptance, rollback validation, and go-live criteria.
Validate product implementation outcomes against business workflows, acceptance criteria, controls, non-functional requirements, and production support needs.
Drive lessons learned, post-implementation defect analysis, stabilization tracking, and continuous improvement for future implementations.

Team & People Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop QA Leads, Test Engineers .
Plan resources, allocate responsibilities, and build high-performing QA teams.
Drive automation-first culture, capability development, and best practices.

Delivery Communication & Quality Reporting

Communicate testing progress, key quality risks, release readiness, and implementation readiness through concise, metrics-based reporting.
Participate in requirement, solution, design, and implementation reviews to ensure quality considerations are addressed early.
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies required for defect resolution, release sign-off, and go-live readiness.

Quality Governance

Lead defect governance, triage, RCA, and production defect prevention.
Track quality metrics including defect leakage, automation coverage, and test effectiveness.
Drive QA maturity, process improvements, and quality transformation initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering , or related field.
15+ years of QA/testing experience with significant leadership experience.
Proven experience managing QA teams and end-to-end testing delivery.
Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
Strong experience defining QA strategy across product development and product implementation lifecycles.
