About The Role
In this position you will join a fast-paced team delivering new, cutting-edge SoC's for Solidigm Solid State Drives (SSD). As an ASIC development engineer, you will perform various functions including logic design, verification, implementation, and/or documentation for the SoC (System on a Chip) development.  You will collaborate with other functional teams for micro-architecture, verification strategy/architecture, logic design, and system simulation for the SoC development based on system requirements and customer feature requests.  Regular responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
- Perform logic design and/or verification for functional units and sub-systems in SoC IP and/or full chip designs 
- Perform Register Transfer Level (RTL) design and simulation for SoCs using industry-standard methodologies
- Develop/review test and execution plans, ensuring that Solidigm’s semiconductor products will be successful
- Use industry-standard verification methodologies such as UVM, FW co-simulation, formal property verification, etc.
- Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits 
- Perform all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design synthesis to place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills supported by relevant experience 
- Digital logic design and implementation experience in advanced technology nodes 
- Familiarity with performing functional verification, including verification methodologies such as UVM and FPV
- Languages: C, C++, Python, Java, Verilog (or VHDL), and/or SystemVerilog
Preferred Qualifications: 
- 8+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC development or equivalent
- Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, etc.
The compensation range for this role is $148,320 - $237,400. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
