Candidate should have

Developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.

Completed a variety of atypical assignments, as needed.

Worked within defined processes and procedures or methodologies may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments.

Completed work with a limited degree of supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Health and Safety

Audits and Inspections: Walk through facilities to spot unsafe behaviors, verify equipment safety, and check environmental controls. Perform required checks and testing of site safety equipment ( eye wash stations, fire extinguishers etc.)

Regulatory compliance: Track adherence to standards from agencies like OSHA and the EPA, manage hazardous waste, and file required government reports.

Safety Culture: Build trust with staff and coach teams on practical safety practices rather than just handing out penalties.

This position requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, hand shields, goggles, respirators, fire/flame resistant clothing and aprons, and gloves. Additional PPE will be required for positions involving work in a clean room environment .

May assist with employee training

Site Maintenance

Working with internal partners to maintain and comply with environmental, health and safety standards

Make daily, periodic, or special inspections of the premises to determine repair work necessary. Includes maintaining and repairing the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including, chillers air compressors, plumbing and HVAC

Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building mechanical equipment, lighting and plumbing.

Oversees contractor-supplied maintenance services, including janitorial, landscape, HVAC servicing and rubbish removal.

Works with company facilities team onsite maintenance issues such as HVAC, roofing, electrical & plumbing to coordinate upgrade and repairs as needed.

Replacement of ceiling lights, HVAC and water filters as needed

Other Requirements

This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

  • Understands hazard signage,
  • Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks
  • Use and safety of hand and power tools, DVM, ammeter, circuit testers, power drills, power saws
  • Understanding basic building electrical, plumbing, wall structure.

  • Has a good understanding of how the team integrates with others to achieve objectives
  • Use of a PC, Microsoft Word, and Excel, for documenting work done and tracking systems statuses

Leadership

  • May provide informal guidance and support to team members

Problem Solving

  • Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures

  • Impacts the quality of own work and its contribution to the team

Interpersonal Skills

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
