About the Role

Work4u is looking for an experienced Senior Road Freight Operator on behaf of our client and a well known company in international transportation and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Full operational management of specific markets/countries, with responsibility for smooth operations and customer service excellence.
• Guidance and daily supervision of the operators’ team, contributing to the effective organization and seamless operation of the department.
• Plan and optimize transportation routes in collaboration with drivers and external partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and strategic business partners.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation legislation, industry regulations, and internal company procedures.
• Verify the accuracy of transportation documentation and ensure the timely completion of all administrative processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance departments to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and support the implementation of new tools and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or operations.
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with transport management systems is considered an asset.
