Senior Account Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, statistical Reports and Bank Reconciliations
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries during month end close
- Perform balance sheet and budget comparison analysis and explain variances
- Responsible for dealership depreciation/fixed assets
- Responsible for dealership factory payable recon
- Responsible for deposit reconciliation/posting
- Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliation
- Responsible for calculation of sales and use tax
- Responsible for warranty-payments and credit memos
- Responsible for AP invoice approvals and verification
- Audit sales analysis
- Maintain and post/apply and verify all monies (i.e. down payments, deposits, credit card slips, refunds and bank wires) on truck sales
- Process customer refunds
- Provide daily dealership assistance
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Senior Account Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience in a dealership environment preferred
- Experience with the automotive sales, service and parts industry a plus
- Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work well with all levels of team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all business and employment issues.
- Operating all necessary office equipment.
- A college degree in accounting or a related field is required
- Additional training in accounting and on computers
- A valid driver’s license is required
