Your role at a glance

The Associate Specialist, Sourcing – DC Ops is responsible for supporting procurement and sourcing activities related to client fit-out projects within the Finance Transformation and Procurement business unit. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, compliance with company standards, and timely delivery of materials and services required for the Operations Team.

What we are looking for

  • KEY responsibilities
  • Assist in sourcing and procurement for client fit-out projects, including vendor identification, RFQs, and bid analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, finance, operations) to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards.
  • KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and sourcing strategies.
  • Familiarity with construction or fit-out materials and vendor landscape.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba or similar).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Preferred: Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in construction or client fit-out projects.
  • Exposure to vendor management and contract administration.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Regularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility
  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Ascend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.
  • Position self in small spaces.
  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
  • Perform work during US business hours and time zones.
  • Work conditions & other requirements
  • Work onsite at a data center location.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Travel required 10% of time.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.
