This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Technician III, Molding & Tooling Engineering, is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes. You will apply advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities while adhering to procedures. Job responsibilities: • Handle highly complex technical tasks related to mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes, supporting operations and contributing to efficiency within defined procedures • Make significant decisions within the scope of your tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities • Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation • Ensure rigorous quality control and comply with regulatory requirements • Complete all required training and commit to continuous improvement in operationsAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. • Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.
