About The Role

- Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour.

Gentle Care Home Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) interested in providing one-on-one skilled nursing care to children with medical needs in the comfort of their homes. Available patient cases, schedules, hours, and clinical needs vary. Our recruiting team works to identify opportunities that align with each nurse's experience, skills, location, and availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient's home.
- Follow the patient's individualized plan of care.
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Provide assigned skilled nursing care, which may include G-tube, tracheostomy, ventilator, and seizure care, according to the patient’s care plan, your scope of practice, and verified competencies.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate with families and the Gentle Care clinical team.
- Provide patient and family education and support.

- Active, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet required background and health screening requirements.
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred.
- Required clinical skills vary by assignment. Our clinical team will review your experience and competencies to determine an appropriate patient match .
- One-on-one patient care.
- Patient assignments matched to your availability and qualifications, based on current openings. Once an assignment is accepted, dependable attendance for the agreed schedule is expected.
