Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to join our Tax Team as a Tax Specialist. This role is responsible for managing corporate income tax compliance, providing tax advisory support, and contributing to transfer pricing and tax-related projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax regulations while partnering with stakeholders across the business to support strategic and operational tax matters. This position offers excellent exposure to a wide range of tax disciplines, including corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and advisory work. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of tax returns in compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax advisory support to business units on transactions, business initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and tax authorities on tax matters.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Support tax-related projects, and strategic assignments.
  • Monitor developments in tax legislation, assess potential business impacts, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Maintain organized records of tax filings and correspondence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and/or a recognized professional qualification.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
