About The Role

At Cura Health, we are looking for a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in providing residents with enjoyable and nutritious dining experiences while supporting the daily operations of our dietary department.

In this role, you will assist with meal preparation and service, set up and deliver resident meal trays, follow individual diet orders and preferences, maintain clean and sanitary dining and kitchen areas, and provide friendly and respectful service to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks to residents.
  • Set up and deliver meal trays according to resident diet orders and preferences.
  • Ensure residents receive the correct meals, beverages, and portion sizes.
  • Assist with dining room setup and cleanup before and after meals.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food service areas.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
  • Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
  • Communicate resident dietary concerns or meal preferences to appropriate staff.
  • Provide friendly, respectful, and timely service to residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow resident diet orders, menus, and food service instructions.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to provide friendly and respectful service to residents.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry food trays, supplies, and equipment.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Must complete required background checks, health screenings, orientation, and facility training.
