About The Role

Prepares and paints surfaces of building structures, furniture and equipment using proper application techniques. Measures lengths of surfaces to determine quantity of paint needed. Plasters or spackles surfaces, mixes paint colors to match existing colors and applies paint to all building and equipment surfaces with brushes, rollers and spray guns.
Installs and repairs covered wall and ceiling surfaces throughout the facility. Hangs vinyl, paper, fabric and foil wall coverings of various weights.
Maintains and repairs caulked, grouted and masonry surfaces throughout the facility requires caulking, grouting, plastering and setting tiles, cinder block/brick and cement work.
Prepares and maintains wood surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering applies alcohol or water stains and develops a finished product from unstained wood or existing finished wood.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team Members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to ensure your Team adheres to the safety requirements and report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly.
