Our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team partners across the site to drive environmental stewardship, maintain regulatory compliance, and support sustainable operations as we continue to expand.

As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving environmental compliance programs that support critical manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with operations, facilities, construction teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to identify environmental risks, implement effective compliance solutions, and help ensure operational excellence while protecting the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support wastewater compliance programs through sampling, monitoring, inspections, data collection, and wastewater treatment system oversight
  • Analyze environmental data, evaluate compliance status, identify trends, and investigate permit exceedances or abnormal conditions
  • Prepare regulatory reports, permit applications, compliance certifications, technical evaluations, and environmental records
  • Lead or support investigations of spills, permit exceedances, upsets, and other compliance events, including corrective action tracking and pollution prevention efforts
  • Support environmental permitting, audits, inspections, agency interactions, facility expansions, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting environmental compliance programs and regulatory initiatives
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements, including wastewater, hazardous waste, air, stormwater, or spill prevention programs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Indirect Discharge Permit (IDP), RCRA hazardous waste, air permitting, stormwater compliance, or SPCC programs
  • Experience with environmental audits, inspections, permit renewals, and regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 environmental management systems
  • Experience supporting environmental compliance activities within a manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or chemical operations environment
  • Understanding of Agentic AI tools and their application to workflow optimization, process improvement, and environmental compliance activities
