Your role

As an Associate Director, Device Connectivity at Baxter, you have the opportunity to work with our internal team as well as collaboratively with the teams we support. The Associate Director of Device Connectivity will be the primary owner of market development, partner management, in market support and growth of our device connectivity capabilities across Care & Connectivity Solutions. This role will be focused on the surgical and communications categories within CCS with a revenue contribution of ~$400M. You will be a member of the US CCS downstream marketing organization with direct reports ensuring that all of our device solutions are focused on bring connectivity capabilities to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and develop a U.S.-based team to drive strategy, development, and launch of connected care/device connectivity solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and shape business strategy.
  • Build strategic business plans, financial models, and business cases to support investment decisions and portfolio growth.
  • Drive product launches, go-to-market strategies, pricing, and commercialization efforts across surgical and communication technology categories.
  • Partner cross-functionally with regional teams, product management, medical affairs, regulatory, service, and commercial stakeholders to ensure execution and alignment.
  • Establish portfolio vision, product roadmaps, performance metrics, and operational governance to achieve business objectives.
  • Influence executive leadership, customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders through strategic communication and executive-level presentations.
  • Lead global initiatives focused on connectivity and workflow efficiency, leveraging strong project management, financial acumen, collaboration, and matrix leadership while supporting up to 40% travel.

What you’ll bring

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering. MBA and/or graduate degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years as a top performer in healthcare corporate and/or hospital environment and 5+ years of cross-functional leadership experience, with significant sophisticated solutions selling experience.
  • Must have expert level knowledge of digital platforms and how they facilitate communication with various clinical systems and devices. Technical understanding of IT environments and robust knowledge of clinical processes and workflows is a plus
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining C-level relationships with customers and strategic partners.
  • Proven career progression in previous roles.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $168,000 to $231,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
