At Centerpoint - Winchester , our Medical Surgical Unit team provides compassionate, high-quality care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures. As a busy inpatient unit, our nurses, patient care staff, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams work closely together to deliver safe, patient-centered care while supporting positive outcomes and a seamless patient experience. How you'll contribute

A State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) who excels in this role

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and assist in developing patient-specific anesthesia care plans under supervision
Administer and manage anesthesia (general, regional, local) under the direction of a CRNA or anesthesiologist
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgical procedures
Assist with airway management, including intubation and ventilation support
Provide post-anesthesia care, including patient monitoring, pain management, and documentation

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional requirements include

State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant certification (CNA)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
Handle with Care certification within 30 days of hire and annually
