About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Structural Engineer to join our project team for major building construction projects in Qatar.

This position is intended for engineers with a strong main contractor background in building construction and extensive site execution experience. Candidates whose experience is primarily in structural design consultancy, analysis, or design office work will not be considered.

As the Site Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating all structural technical activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will review structural shop drawings, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), BIM models, material submittals, RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), and Builder's Works drawings while coordinating closely with Construction, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, BIM, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors.

Requirements

Mandatory

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of total professional experience.
Minimum 10 years with Tier-1 or Tier-2 Main Contractors on building construction projects.
Proven experience in:
High-rise Buildings
Commercial Buildings
Residential Towers
Hospitality Projects
Mixed-use Developments
Institutional Buildings

Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel works.
Extensive experience reviewing:
Structural Shop Drawings
Reinforcement Detailing
Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
Builder's Works Drawings

Strong understanding of:
Construction sequencing
Temporary works
Constructability reviews
Site execution

Experience coordinating Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
Experience handling Consultant and Client technical approvals.
Previous experience on major building projects within Qatar or GCC .
