About The Role

Contract Type:  Permanent – 18 Hours Per Week
Days of Work:  Monday - Wednesday / Monday, Thursday & Friday
Hours of Work:  14:30 - 20:30

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include

Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
