About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a U.S.-based, fully remote healthcare team focused on providing accessible, high-quality mental health care for women.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care across reproductive and postpartum stages, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based psychotherapy. You will have the autonomy to manage your patient caseload while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning.
  • Provide ongoing medication management, including initiating, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, IPT, or other appropriate modalities.
  • Support women experiencing mental health concerns across reproductive and postpartum stages.
  • Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Facilitate referrals to appropriate mental health providers, services, and community resources when needed.
  • Participate in case consultations, clinical discussions, and supervision meetings.
  • Work independently while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the remote care team.
  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification and nurse practitioner license in good standing.
  • Must be licensed to practice in at least one of the following states: Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia, Washington D.C., or Maryland.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and psychotherapy .
  • Experience working with women's mental health , particularly reproductive and/or postpartum mental health, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in psychopharmacology and medication management.
  • Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote multidisciplinary care team.
  • Commitment to providing culturally responsive, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
