DevOps Tech Lead / Infra Architect / DevOps Team Lead

About The Role
This is more than just a senior engineering role - you will become the face of infrastructure within the company, shaping the strategy, implementing best practices, and influencing the product direction.
What You Will Do
- Design infrastructure for high-load distributed systems (from bare-metal to Kubernetes in the cloud).
- Take ownership of the platform: its reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security.
- Lead the DevOps team: mentor, support, develop, and involve engineers in architectural and product decisions.
- Build and execute infrastructure roadmaps (migrations, high availability, observability, security, etc.).
- Collaborate with development teams and product managers, participating in planning and implementation of changes.
- Participate in incident management — both technical (infrastructure failures) and process-related.
- Manage projects: planning, task decomposition, progress tracking, and removing blockers.
Tech Stack
- Linux / Virtualization: Debian/Ubuntu, Proxmox VE, QEMU/KVM, libvirt.
- Networking: routing, VPN, BGP, DNS, load balancing, high availability, Cloudflare, Fastly.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab CI.
- Monitoring & Logging: Grafana, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Zabbix, ELK, Opsgenie, SigNoz.
- Databases & Messaging: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis/Valkey, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Scripting / Tooling: Bash, Python, Golang.
- Cloud (preferred): AWS, GCP.
- Processes & Culture: GitOps, DevOps, SRE practices.
Will be an advantage
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP.
- Programming skills in Python or Golang.
What Matters
- 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead, Architect, or Technical Lead in a product-focused company.
- Proven leadership experience: driving projects, managing people, participating in hiring and developing engineers.
- Strong systems thinking: ability to design architecture, foresee the impact of decisions, simplify complexity.
- Ownership mindset: solving problems rather than assigning blame.
- Proactivity: you do not wait for tasks — you shape the vision and lead the team toward it.
Nice to Have
- Experience building and maintaining high-load / high-availability products.
- Experience migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes or to the cloud.
- Participation in building CI/CD and GitOps processes.
- Experience hiring and forming engineering teams.
