About The Role

This is a hybrid position based out of Orlando, Florida. Qualified candidates must possess experience with ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS 10.x or ArcGIs Pro.

SUMMARY

The creation and maintenance of software applications under close supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in research and fact-finding to develop, modify, or enhance applications and information systems.
  • Assist in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

EXPERTISE

Entry-level position for individuals with the aptitude, educational background, or related work experience to begin a career in application development.

EXPERIENCE

Typically has 0-2 years of relevant work experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

.NET, C#, Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), WPF, ESRI ArcGIS 10.x and ArcGIS Pro, Windows Form, Visual Studios, SQL Server and relational databases, XML, Web Services (WCF, ASMX, and REST)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • At a minimum, the ability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Consistent attendance is required.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others (i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors).
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.
  • Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS

  • The ability to maintain confidence and confidential information may be required.
  • The ability to perform under pressure and to be flexible with disruptions and deadlines is required .
  • Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.

Sedentary work : The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
