Phlebotomist

Job Summary

Collects blood specimens, according to physician orders, from in patients and outpatients and delivers the specimens to the laboratory for analysis. Performs a variety of duties, which include, filing laboratory results and computer order entry.

Qualifications

• High School High School graduate or equivalent and
• Certificate Successful completion of phlebotomy program through an accredited phlebotomy program required Required
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Computer experience preferred
• ASCP preferred Preferred
