About The Role
The Coastal Engineering and Management of SJ and SMEC are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in land reclamation development project. See below for more details: Key Responsibilities Support in-house team of QS/Estimating staff in terms of planning, oversighting and delivery of all estimating outputs. Study civil, structural, architectural, MEP and all engineering drawings and specifications. Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities outlining all individual components required to construct the project. · Preparation of independent cost estimates (preliminary and detailed) to the required levels of accuracy. Liaise directly with design leads (civil, structural, architectural and MEPFS engineering works) in the verification of designs and the preparation of quantity take-offs from drawings. Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required for compiling materials and construction costs. Prepare cost comparisons for alternatives design schemes to assess viability of options. Provide recommendations on cost effectiveness Maintain material suppliers’ database for estimating purposes. Preparation of DUPA (Detailed Unit Price Analysis) based from DPWH/DOTr standard unit pricing.
