About The Role

The Network Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) Lead is a newly created, hands-on individual contributor role responsible for the design, implementation, security, and reliability of the Group's network and cloud infrastructure across every territory and entity. This role ensures that all companies have secure, reliable, and consistent connectivity and cloud services as the Group grows regionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Connectivity — Design, deploy, and maintain WAN/VPN connectivity ensuring resilience and recoverability.
  • Cloud Infrastructure — Administer and optimize the Group's Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environment, including tenant configuration, identity and access management, storage, and integration with business applications (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance — Own the Group's cybersecurity posture across networks and cloud services: firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, patching, vulnerability management, and security monitoring. Ensure practices align with data protection obligations across the territories served.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity — Develop, document, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network, server, and cloud infrastructure, minimizing downtime risk for dealership and distributor operations.
  • Regional Expansion Support — Support the onboarding of new dealership locations and business lines onto the Group's network and cloud infrastructure as expansion continues, including site assessments and rollout planning.
  • Vendor Management — Manage relationships with ISPs, cloud providers, and infrastructure vendors across territories, evaluating performance and cost as the Group scales.
  • Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, cloud architecture, configurations, and infrastructure changes.
  • Operational Support — Provide escalation-level support for network and cloud-related incidents across all sites, working alongside local IT support where present.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 5-10 + years of design, implementation and maintenance experience in network and cloud infrastructure roles, ideally spanning multi-site or multi-country operations.
  • Hands-on experience with VPN technologies and WAN architecture (e.g., site-to-site VPN, SD-WAN, or similar) connecting geographically dispersed locations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure administration — tenant management, identity (Entra ID), networking, and security features.
  • Practical experience with firewalls, network security, and endpoint (mobile + workstation) protection tooling.
  • Experience building or maintaining disaster recovery / business continuity plans for IT infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working independently across time zones and territories, with occasional regional travel.
  • Strong documentation habits and clear written communication.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting automotive, retail, or multi-location franchise operations.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Security Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Experience setting up new sites/physical locations.

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports directly to the Business Systems Manager.
  • Works closely with staff across all territories to support local connectivity and infrastructure needs.
  • Coordinates with external vendors, ISPs, and cloud service providers.
