About The Role
Job Summary: The Cost Controller is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting project costs against approved budgets, supporting accurate forecasting and cost control across the project.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain project cost control systems and cost breakdown structures. Track committed, actual, and forecast costs against the approved budget. Prepare periodic cost reports and variance analysis for management. Support preparation of project cash flow forecasts. Coordinate with procurement and site teams to verify cost data accuracy. Track change orders/variations and their cost impact. Support earned value management (EVM) calculations and reporting. Maintain cost coding and allocation in line with the project WBS. Assist in preparation of monthly cost reports for client/management review. Identify cost risks and trends and escalate to the Project Control Manager. Support close-out cost reconciliation and final account preparation.
Requirements
Experience: +5 years of experience in project cost control on EPC or construction projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
