Legal Counsel

This is a highly visible role partnering closely with business stakeholders to provide pragmatic legal advice across complex commercial matters, technology-driven transactions, and key customer engagements. The opportunity would suit an experienced commercial lawyer who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, business-facing environment with significant stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to support innovative solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted legal adviser to the commercial sales function, providing strategic support across the full lifecycle of complex commercial transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements, balancing legal risk with business objectives to enable successful deal execution.
• Triage and resolve a broad range of legal and commercial issues, delivering pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Advise on complex technology and IT-related matters, supporting high-value enterprise customers and strategically significant accounts.
• Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Commercial, Product and Leadership teams, to facilitate commercially sound outcomes while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
• Manage a dynamic portfolio of matters, exercising sound commercial judgment and resilience to effectively support a high-performing sales organisation.

Requirements

• Strong commercial legal experience, with a proven ability to manage complex contracting matters and support business-critical transactions.
• Demonstrated capability in negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements and providing pragmatic, commercially aligned legal advice.
• Experience within technology, IT, telecommunications, or other complex enterprise environments is highly desirable.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence, resilience, and commercial acumen to partner effectively with sales teams and senior business leaders.
