Job Title

Finance Intern

Job Purpose: To gain real world experience and exposure to the private accounting sector by supporting many different departments, helping them carry out their business transactions and projects.

Responsibilities

Will focus on assignments within business unit finance support various teams by

Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting
Cost analysis
Audit and compliance support

Required Qualifications

Must graduate in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028 and major in Accounting and/or Finance with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a major GPA of 3.3 preferred
Possess strong analytical and communication skills

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.

Duration

Our summer internship program runs 10-12 weeks and starts in late May and ends in early August.

Co-ops may be available depending on our business needs. The co-op program duration is typically 6-8 months and can run from early January through early August OR late May through early December.

Hours

This is a temporary, full-time, hourly position. Interns can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week and may be eligible for overtime based on business needs.

Location(s)

This is an on-site position based out of our corporate headquarters in Austin, MN.
Hormel Foods does not currently offer remote internship opportunities.

Competitive hourly pay of $24.50 paid on a weekly basis
